Admin Reference Data Overview

The Admin Reference Data Area is the same as the Reference Data Area that corporate organisation users access, except that when you log in as an admin user, you can only work with the following reference data types: parties, phrases, instrument templates, security profiles, and notification rules, calendars,  and currency calendar rules.

The Reference Data Area is a listing page that allows you to work with each type of reference data. In the Reference Data Area, you can click on a reference data item to view the item's detail page. If you have appropriate security rights, you can then modify or delete the reference data that is owned by your organisation. If you do not have minimum security rights (CCH) to reference data, you will not be able to access the Reference Data area. When you press the Reference Data button on the admin navigation bar, the Reference Data Area (CCH) displays, allowing you to create and maintain admin reference data.

You can work with the following types of reference data in the Admin Reference Data area:

If you need information about working with reference data, see the Working with Reference Data (CCH) topic in the Corporate Customer help system.

Instrument Templates Overview

You enter and save partially completed transactions, or instrument templates (CCH), in the Reference Data Area with Instrument Templates (CCH), which displays for both admin and corporate customer users. After you have saved an instrument template, you can use it to create new transactions or templates in the system.

In order for a corporate customer to create an instrument of each type (for example, Import Letter of Credit, Standby Letter of Credit, Guarantee, and so on), a default template (CCH) needs to be created by an admin user for each instrument type.

Admin users can create express templates  (CCH) or "tamper-proof" templates for corporate customer users to access when creating transactions.
