Creating Address Book

Before a Address Book can be referenced on a transaction or template, a user with security rights to maintain parties must add the party in the Reference Data Area with Address Book.

To create a party:

  1. Press the Reference Data navigation button from any page displaying the navigation bar.

    The Reference Data Area displays.

  2. Select Address Book from the Show drop-down list.

    The Reference Data Area with Address Book displays.

  3. Press Create a Address Book.  If you do not have security rights to maintain parties, this button does not appear on the page.

    The Address Book page appears.

  4. Enter party information into each section of the page (General, Communications, and Designated Bank). Required information is indicated by a red asterisk (*). After you have completed the last section, press Save & Close.

    The new party is saved and the Reference Data Area with Address Book redisplays.
