Creating Security Profiles

Users with security rights to maintain security profiles can create them through the Reference Data Area with Security Profiles. These security profiles can then be assigned to users to define their security rights in the Trade Services system.

To create a security profile:

Press the Reference Data navigation button from any page displaying the navigation bar.

The Reference Data Area displays.
Select Security Profiles from the Show drop-down list.

The Reference Data Area with Security Profiles displays.
Press Create a Security Profile. If you do not have security rights to maintain security profiles, this button does not appear on the page.

The Security Profile page appears.
Enter security profile information into the page. Required information is indicated by a red asterisk (*). After you are finished entering data, press Save & Close.

The new security profile is saved and the Reference Data Area with Security Profiles redisplays.
