The Security Profile page is where users with appropriate security rights can view, enter, or modify security profile information. This page appears in read-only mode if you have view only security rights to security profiles or if the security profile was created by a different organisation.
The Security Profile page includes the following sections:
Receivables/ Payables Management
Invoice/Credit Note Processing
The General section of the Security Profile page
includes the Security Profile Name field, which is required.
To specify, enter the name of the security profile name into the text
box. This field can contain up to 25 characters and is a required field.
Security Profile Classification field, will appear as Admin and Non-Admin. This will be a mandatory field when creating
a new Corporate Customer Security Profile.
These values will only appear when the 'Corporate Customer User/Security Role (Admin vs. Non-Admin)' setting is set to "Yes".
Note: When a Bank Administrator User Profile is given access to Corporate Customers and assigned a corporate customer
security profile, there will be no edits on the role of the Bank Admin User ID in terms of the Corporate Customer User
classification of Admin or Non-Admin.
The Messages section of the Security Profile page allows you to select the security rights for the Messages area of the system. The fields and controls contained in the Messages section of the Security Profile Detail page are described below.

Create / Reply - Indicates whether or not users assigned to this security profile can create mail or reply to mail. Send to Bank - Indicates whether or not users assigned to this security profile can send mail messages to the bank. Route - Indicates whether or not users assigned to this security profile can route mail messages to other users. Attach Document(s) - Indicates whether or not users assigned to this security profile can attach documents to the mail messages. Delete Document(s) - Indicates whether or not users assigned to this security profile can delete documents from the mail messages. |
Pre-Debit/Notifications |
Delete from the inbox - Indicates whether or not users assigned to this security profile can delete from the Pre-Debit/Notifications inbox. Route - Indicates whether or not users assigned to this security profile can route Pre-Debit/Notification messages to other users. |
Discrepancies/ATP Approval Notices |
Selecting checkboxes under this heading allows you to grant one or more of the following security rights to the current security profile: Delete from the inbox - Indicates whether or not users assigned to this security profile can delete from the discrepancies inbox. Route - Indicates whether or not users assigned to this security profile can route discrepancy notices to other users. |
Notifications |
Selecting the Delete checkbox on this row indicates that users assigned to this security profile can delete from the queue of notifications. |
The Instruments section of the Security Profile page allows you to select the security rights for the Instruments area of the system. The fields and controls contained in the Instruments section of the Security Profile Detail page are described below.

Selecting checkboxes in these rows allows you to grant specific security rights for each instrument type to the current security profile. You can grant one or more of the following security rights to the security profile for each instrument type listed: Create/Modify - Indicates whether or not users assigned to this security profile can create and modify transactions for the instrument type. Delete - Indicates whether or not users assigned to this security profile can delete transactions for the instrument type. Route- Indicates whether or not users assigned to this security profile can route transactions for the instrument type. Checker – Indicates whether or not users assigned to this security profile can act as a Checker for the instrument type. Send for Repair – Indicates whether or not users assigned to this security profile can send instruments of this type for repair. Authorise - Indicates whether or not users assigned to this security profile can authorise transactions for the instrument type. Authorise Offline – Indicates whether or not users assigned to this security profile can provide offline authorisation for instruments of this type. Process Purchase Orders - In the Import Letter of Credit section, this option indicates whether or not users assigned to this security profile can manually enter or upload purchase order information in an import letter of credit transaction. Upload File – For the ”Domestic Payments” Instrument type, this option indicates whether or not users assigned to this security profile can upload payment files via the ”Upload Payment File” button displayed on the Domestic Payment transaction entry screen. Process Invoices – For Approval to Pay and Loan Request instrument types, this option indicates whether or not users assigned to this security profile can process invoices related to that instrument type. |
Attach Documents to/Delete Documents from Transactions |
Selecting checkboxes in this area allows you to grant specific security rights for all of the instrument types defined in the instrument section where a user has ’create/modify’ capabilities. Attach Document(s) - Indicates whether or not users assigned to this security profile can attach documents to a transaction. Delete Document(s) - Indicates whether or not users assigned to this security profile can delete documents from a transaction. |

Receivables/Payables Management
The Receivables/Payables Management section of the Security Profile page allows you to select the security rights for the Receivable Instruments. The fields and controls contained in the Receivables/Payables Management section of the Security Profile Detail page are described below.

Receivables Management Match Notice and Response |
Selecting checkboxes in this row allows you to grant one or more of the following Receivable Management security rights to the security profile for each instrument type listed: Match - Indicates whether or not users assigned to this security profile can perform manual matching of Invoices to Payment/Remittance information sent over to the Trade Portal by the Bank for the Receivables instrument. Route- Indicates whether or not users assigned to this security profile can route transactions to another user at the same corporation or parent corporation for the Receivables instrument. Authorise - Indicates whether or not users assigned to this security profile can Authorise the matched invoices to be sent back to the bank for processing of payments for the Receivables instrument. Authorise Offline - Indicates whether or not users assigned to this security profile can provide offline authorisation for the matched invoices to be sent back to the bank for processing of payments Receivables instrument. Approve Discount & Authorise - Indicates whether or not users assigned to this security profile can approve discounts and Authorise the matched invoices for the Receivables instrument. Approve Discount & Authorise Offline - Indicates whether or not users assigned to this security profile can provide offline approval of discounts and authorization of the matched invoices for the Receivables instrument. Add Buyer to Payment - Indicates whether or not users assigned to this security profile can add a Buyer’s ID and Name information to the payment for the Receivables instrument.

Selecting check boxes in these rows allows you to grant specific security rights for each reference data type (parties, phrases, threshold groups, and so on) to the current security profile. You can grant one of the following security rights for each reference data type: No access - Indicates that users assigned to this security profile cannot view reference data items for the type indicated. View Only - Indicates that users assigned to this security profile can view only reference data items for the type indicated; however, the user cannot create, modify, or delete the reference data items). View & Maintain - Indicates that users assigned to this security profile can create, modify, and delete reference data items for the type indicated. Create Fixed Payment Template – This will only be listed under Instrument Templates reference data and will be used in conjunction with the three options listed above. This field indicates that users can create fixed payment templates. Create new Address Book entries during transaction entry – This will only be listed under Parties reference data and will be used in conjunction with the three options listed above. This field indicates that users can add parties during transaction entry. Allow 'Save As' for Security Profiles - This will only be listed under Security Profiles reference data and will be used in conjunction with the three options listed above. This field indicates that users save existing security profiles as a new security profile.
