When information for an instrument template currently stored in the system changes, users with appropriate security rights can edit the template through the Reference Data Area with Instrument Templates.
To edit an instrument template:
Press the Reference Data navigation button from any page displaying the navigation bar.
The Reference Data Area displays.
Select Instrument Templates from the Show drop-down list.
The Reference Data Area with Instrument Templates displays, listing all of the instrument templates that exist in the system.
In the Template Name column, click on the template name link for the template you want to edit.
The Instrument Template page displays for the template you selected. If you do not have security rights to maintain templates, the page displays in read-only mode and you will not be able to edit the template.
Edit the template information on the page. Required information is indicated by a red asterisk (*). After you are finished editing the template data, press Save & Close.
