User

The User page is where users with appropriate security rights can view, enter, or modify information for a user's user profile. This page appears in read-only mode if you have view only security rights to user profiles, or if you have displayed the page as a result of pressing the View My User Profile button on the Home Page.

The fields and controls contained in the User page are described below.

Field/Control

Description

General

 

 User ID*

The user ID for the user. The user ID is a unique name to identify the user on system pages. This field can contain up to 30 characters and is a required field.

First Name*

The first name of the user. This field can contain up to 15 characters and is a required field.

Middle Initial

The middle initial of the user. This field can contain 1 character.

Last Name*

The last name of the user. This field can contain up to 30 characters and is a required field.

Phone Number

The phone number of the user. This field can contain up to 20 characters.

Fax Number

The fax number of the user. This field can contain up to 20 characters.

Email Address

The email address of the user. This field can contain up to 50 characters.

Region Setting*

The region for the user. Selecting a region here allows you to identify the region with which the user is associated. Examples of regions include English (Australia), English (Canada), and French (Canada).

Receive email notifications for routed transactions and messages

If checked this will enable the user to receive emails for routed transactions. This indicator cannot be checked unless there is an email address in the user profile.

Receive email notification for authorized transactions

If checked/unchecked will allow a user to opt in / out of receiving email notifications for authorized transactions.

Default Work View*

The default work view for the user. Selecting a work view here allows you to identify the default view of data items in listing pages, such as the Mail and Pending Transactions pages. Examples of available selections include Work for Me, Work for My Organisation, and Work for Organisation and Its Children.

Selections available in the drop-down list vary, depending on whether the user's organisation has subsidiaries or branches and whether the user has security rights to work with them for any functional area.

Time Zone*

The time zone for the user. Selecting a time zone here allows you to identify the time zone with which the user is associated. The following are examples of time zone selections:

·         (GMT +00:00) Europe/London

·         (GMT -05:00) EST - Eastern Standard Time

·         (GMT +10:00) Australia/Sydney

Security

 

The fields that display in this area and for which an entry is required vary depending on whether the user's organisation uses passwords or secure certificates for authentication. For more information about the type of authentication your bank uses, contact your bank.

User must enter a Login ID and Password for authentication

This radio button is only displayed when users in the corporate organization can be configured individually to use either a Login ID and Password or a Certificate for Authentication.  Selecting this option indicates that the user will be required to enter a Login ID and a Password for authentication.

Login ID

The login ID for the user. This ID allows the user to be identified on pages and reports listing system user information.

Password

The password for the user. This field can contain up to 30 characters and is required if the user's organisation uses passwords, rather than certificates, for user authentication.

The same field can be used for Edit/Reset a user’s password. This is allowed only if the user's organisation uses passwords, rather than certificates, for user authentication.

Editing/Resetting the password in this field will require the user to enter this new password the next time he or she logs into the Trade Services system.

Retype Password

The password for the user, exactly as entered into the Password field on this page. This field can contain up to 30 characters. In addition, this field displays only when the page is displayed in editable form and only if the user's organisation uses passwords, rather than certificates, for user authentication.

User must submit a Certificate for authentication

This radio button is only displayed when users in the corporate organization can be configured individually to use either a Login ID and Password or a Certificate for Authentication.  Selecting this option indicates that the user will be required to enter a Certificate ID for authentication.

Certificate ID

The certificate ID for the user. This field is used as follows:

·         If the user's organisation currently uses certificates, rather than passwords, for security purposes, then enter the certificate ID into this field.

·         If the user's organisation currently uses passwords to log into the system,you can optionally enter a certificate ID into this field if your organisation will be transitioning to certificate-based security in the future.

Security Device ID

The security device ID for the user. This field is used as follows:

·          If your organisation currently uses 2-factor authentication, rather than passwords, for security purposes, then enter the security device ID into this field.

·          If your organisation currently uses passwords to log into the system, you can optionally enter a security device ID into this field if your organisation will be transitioning to security device ID security in the future.

User must use Single Sign-On

Selecting this radio button will require the user to use Single Sign-On.

Single Sign-On ID

The ID used for the user to access the system using single sign-on.Each SSO user must have Single Sign-On ID Selected and ID must be same as T360 Portal ID.

Single Sign-On with Password Only

Selecting this checkbox will allow the user to  Single Sign-On with only their password.

User must use Single Sign-On by registration

Selecting this radio button will require the user to use Single Sign-On by registration.

Registration Login ID

This field holds the Registration Login ID for Single Sign-On by registration.

Registration Login Password

This field holds the Registration Login Password for Single Sign-On by registration.

Registered

Select the appropriate radio button for if the user is registered with OLBB.

No Certificate/Serial Number stored locally

This radio button is automatically selected by the system whenever a Salt Mobile Token, VASCO, or VASCO (China) is selected as the security device type..

Additional Authentication for Transaction Authorization

If the Client Bank is configured for additional authentication during  transaction authorization this setting will specify how the users is to authenticate:

·          If ”Certificate Authentication” is selected here for a user, when the user authorizes a transaction, they will be prompted for their certificate (smart-card).

·          If ”2-Factor Authorization” is selected here for a user, when the user authorizes a transaction, they will be prompted for their OTP or Signature Code.

Assigned To

 

Threshold Group

The threshold group with which the user is associated. This list includes all threshold groups established by the user's organisation.

Note:  If you do not select a threshold group for a user, then the user can authorise an unlimited amount of work.

Security Profile*

The security profile to which the user is assigned. This list includes all security profiles established by the bank or by the user's organisation.

Work Group

The work group with which the user is associated. This list includes all work groups established by the user's organisation.

Note:  If you do not select a work group for a user, then the user may not be able to authorize an instrument that requires tow users from different work groups.

Restricted User Profile Template

The template assigned to which the Customer User is assigned.

Panel Authority

The ”Panel Authority” dropdown allows a panel (A, B or C) to be selected for the user. This field is applicable only when Corporation uses Panel Authorisation  method for Authorizing Payment Instruments.

Authorise Own Input

Selecting this check box indicates if the user can authorize his/her own input for panel authority items – i.e., the user can be one in the sequence of authorizers of a payment that they themselves created. There must be an entry in the ”Panel Authority” field for the User for this field to be selected /checked.

Account Access for Fund Transfer:

Select Accounts to be used for Funds Transfers and enter Account Description

 
In this section, identify the accounts that a User should be able to see/move funds in and out of while processing Payment instruments. Same account cannot be selected twice.

Account Number /Name

The Accounts and Account Name display based on the Accounts listed on the Corporate Customer Profile.  

Account Description

The description/nickname for the account specific to the User. This field can have up to 35 characters.

Add 4 More Accounts

On pressing this button, four more lines of account data entry fields will be presented to the user. Initially the screen displays eight accounts for the user to select from based on the accounts set up on the Corporate Customer Profile.

Subsidiary Access Capabilities

The Trade Services system provides the user with the ability to login once and to perform activities on behalf of their own corporate organisation or to access and perform activities on behalf of a subsidiary of their own corporate organisation, in the same login session. The radio button options in this area control whether or not the user is able to perform activities on behalf of a subsidiary while logged in to the Trade Service system as a user of their assigned corporate organisation.

User is NOT able to perform actions on behalf of subsidiaries

This option defaults selected.  It indicates that the user does not have the ability to perform any actions on behalf of their assigned corporate organisation’s subsidiary corporate organisations.

User is able to perform actions on behalf of subsidiaries

Selecting this option gives the user the ability to perform actions on behalf of subsidiary corporate organisations while they are logged in to the Trade Services system as a user of their assigned corporate organisation.

The reference data for the user’s organisation is available when the user performs actions on behalf of subsidiaries

Selecting this check box indicates that the reference data owned by the user’s corporate organisation is available to the user when the user uses the subsidiary access feature to perform actions on behalf of the subsidiaries of the user’s corporate organisation. When this check box is not selected; then, the reference data owned by the user is not available when the user performs actions on behalf of the user’s subsidiaries.  For example, consider a user processing an instrument for a subsidiary of the user’s corporate organisation by way of the subsidiary access feature.  When this check box is selected for the user; then, the parties available for selection in the Party Search page include the parties maintained by the user’s organisation.  In this example, when this check box is not selected; then, only the parties maintained by the subsidiary are available for selection in the Party Search page.

"The activities that the user can perform on behalf of a subsidiary corporate organisation in a single login session depend on the Subsidiary Access Security Profile, Threshold Group, Work Group to which the user is assigned and the Product Authorisation Rules selected. For this reason, when you select the ”User is able to perform actions on behalf of subsidiaries” radio button option, you must also assign the user a Subsidiary Access Security Profile, Threshold Group, Work Group and also select the applicable Product Authorisation Rules- Parent or Subsidiary Customer level.”

Subsidiary Access Security Profile

The security profile to which the user is assigned when the user accesses a subsidiary corporate organisation.  This list includes all security profiles established by the bank or the user’s corporate organisation.

User can use the same Subsidiary Access Security Profile for each subsidiary

Selecting this checkbox will enable the below dropdown. Selecting an option from the drop down will give the user access rights to all its subsidiaries based on the option selected.

User can use different Subsidiary Access Security Profile for subsidiaries

Selecting this checkbox will enable the table below it. Select a Subsidiary from the left column and a Security Profile from the right column to give the user access to the selected subsidiary based on the Security Profile chosen.

Only display the below subsidiaries when accessing items for subsidiaries in parent Show view. The parent security profile will still be used and not the security profile listed below.

Selecting this check box indicates that the Show dropdown will only display the added subsidiaries in Subsidiary Access Security Profiles table. Unselecting this check box will display all subsidiaries in show dropdown even if subsidiaries are added in table.This check box is only available when the radio button 'User can use different Subsidiary Access Security Profile for subsidiaries' is selected.

Threshold Group

The threshold group to which the user is assigned when the user accesses a subsidiary corporate organisation.  This list includes all threshold group established by the bank or the user’s corporate organisation.

Work Group

The work group to which the user is assigned when the user accesses a subsidiary corporate organisation.  This list includes all work group established by the bank or the user’s corporate organisation.

Use Product Authorisation Rules defined on Parent Customer Profile

Selecting this option indicates that the product authorisation rules defined on the parent customer profile would be applicable when the user uses the subsidiary access feature to perform actions on behalf of the subsidiaries of the user’s corporate organisation.

Use Product Authorisation Rules defined on Subsidiary Customer Profile

Selecting this option indicates that the product authorisation rules defined on the subsidiary customer profile would be applicable when the user uses the subsidiary access feature to perform actions on behalf of the subsidiaries of the user’s corporate organisation.

Document Preparation

User is NOT able to access Document Preparation services

This is the default selection. Accepting the default means that the user does not have access to the Document Preparation features integrated with the Trade Services system.
 User is able to access Document Preparation Selecting this option gives the user the ability to access the Document Preparation services from the Trade Services system.

User name

Enter the user name that has been assigned to the user by @Global Trade Export.  Entering the @GlobalTrade Export user name in this field will enable single sign on access for the user from the Trade Services system to the @GlobalTrade Export document preparation software.  The user must have first been set up in the @GlobalTrade Export software.

Save & Close

Pressing this button saves the current information in all sections of the User page and returns you to the Reference Data Area with Users. This button does not appear when the page is displayed in read-only mode.

Delete

Pressing this button deletes the currently displayed user from the system and returns you to the Reference Data Area with Users For more information, see Deleting a System User. This button does not appear when the page is displayed in read-only mode.

Close

Pressing this button closes the User page without saving any information and returns you to the Reference Data Area with Users.

Approve

Pressing this button indicates approval of pending reference data changes.  This button only appears when the page is accessed through the Reference Data Requiring Approval page.

Reject

Pressing this button indicates rejection of pending reference data changes. This button only appears when the page is accessed through the Reference Data Requiring Approval page.
