Deleting System Users

When a system user currently stored in the system is no longer needed, users with appropriate security rights can delete the system user through the Reference Data Area with Users.

To delete a system user:

  1. Press the Reference Data navigation button from any page displaying the navigation bar.

    The Reference Data Area displays.

  2. Choose Users from the Show drop-down list.

    The Reference Data Area with Users displays.

  3. In the User ID column, click on the user ID link for the user you want to delete.

    The User page appears for the user you selected.

  4. Click on Delete. If you do not have security rights to maintain users, the page appears in read-only mode and the Delete button does not appear on the page.

    A message appears asking you to confirm that you want to delete the user.

  5. If you are certain you want to delete the user, click on Yes to confirm the delete action. The user is deleted from the system and the Reference Data Area with Users displays.

    If you do not want to delete the user, click on No to cancel the delete process. The user is not deleted from the system and the Reference Data Area with Users displays.
