Users with appropriate security rights can route a message to another person or to a subsidiary or branch of your organisation. You may not be able to route a message, depending on the status of the message and your security rights.
You can either route a single mail message from the message detail page, or you can route one or more selected messages from a message folder.
To route a single mail message from the message detail page:
Access the message's detail page from one of the Mail Folders in the Messages area.
Press the Route button on the detail page.
The Route Item(s) page displays. (If your organisation does not have subsidiaries or branches, click here to view help for the Route Item(s) page.)
Select the name of the person or organisation to whom you want to route the message, then press Route Item(s).
The Messages area redisplays with a confirmation that each item has been routed.
To route one or more selected messages from a message folder:
Press the Messages navigation button from any page displaying the navigation bar.
The Messages area displays with the Messages tab active.
Navigate to the messages folder that contains the message you want to route (Inbox, Drafts, or Sent to Bank).
In the left-most column of the messages listing, select the checkbox for each message you want to route.
Press Route Selected Item(s).
The Route Item(s) page displays. (If your organisation does not have subsidiaries or branches, click here to view help for the Route Item(s) page.)
