Deleting Threshold Groups

When a threshold group currently stored in the system is no longer needed, users with appropriate security rights can delete the threshold group through the Reference Data Area with Threshold Groups.

Note: You cannot delete a threshold group that is assigned to one or more users.

To delete a threshold group:

  1. Press the Reference Data navigation button from any page displaying the navigation bar.

    The Reference Data Area displays.

  2. Select Threshold Groups from the Show drop-down list.

    The Reference Data Area with Threshold Groups displays.

  3. In the Threshold Group Name column, click on the threshold group name link for the threshold group you want to delete.

    The Threshold Group page appears for the threshold group you selected.

  4. Press Delete. If you do not have security rights to maintain threshold groups, the page appears in read-only mode and the Delete button does not appear on the page.

    A message appears asking you to confirm that you want to delete the threshold group.

  5. If you are certain you want to delete the threshold group, press Yes to confirm the delete action. The threshold group is deleted from the system and the Reference Data Area with Threshold Groups displays.

    If you do not want to delete the threshold group, press No to cancel the delete action. The threshold group is not deleted from the system and the Reference Data Area with Threshold Groups displays.
