When a PO definition currently stored in the system is no longer needed, users with appropriate security rights can delete the PO definition through the Reference Data Area with PO Definitions.
To delete a PO definition:
Press the Reference Data navigation button from any page displaying the navigation bar.
The Reference Data Area is displayed.
Select PO Definitions from the Show drop-down list.
The Reference Data Area with PO Definitions is displayed.
In the PO Definition Name column, click on the name link for the PO definition you want to delete.
The PO Definition page appears for the PO definition you selected.
Press Delete. If you do not have security rights to maintain PO definitions, the page appears in read-only mode and the Delete button does not appear on the page.
A message appears asking you to confirm that you want to delete the PO definition.
If you are certain you want to delete the PO definition, press Yes to confirm the delete action. The PO definition is deleted from the system and the Reference Data Area with PO Definitions is displayed.
If you do not want to delete the PO definition, press No to cancel the delete action. The PO definition is not deleted from the system and the Reference Data Area with PO Definitions is displayed.
