When an LC creation rules currently stored in the system is no longer needed, users with appropriate security rights can delete the LC creation rule through the Reference Data Area with LC Creation Rules.
To delete an LC creation rule:
Press the Reference Data navigation button from any page displaying the navigation bar.
The Reference Data Area displays.
Select LC Creation Rules from the Show drop-down list.
The Reference Data Area with LC Creation Rules displays.
In the LC Creation Rule Name column, click on the name link for the LC creation rule you want to delete.
The LC Creation Rule page appears for the LC creation rule you selected.
Press Delete. If you do not have security rights to maintain LC creation rules, the page appears in read-only mode and the Delete button does not appear on the page.
A message appears asking you to confirm that you want to delete the LC creation rule.
If you are certain you want to delete the LC creation rule, press Yes to confirm the delete action. The LC creation rule is deleted from the system and the Reference Data Area with LC Creation Rules displays.
If you do not want to delete the LC creation rule, press No to cancel the delete action. The LC creation rule is not deleted from the system and the Reference Data Area with LC Creation Rules displays.
