Deleting Foreign Exchange Rates

When a foreign exchange rate currently stored in the system is no longer needed, users with appropriate security rights can delete the foreign exchange rate through the Reference Data Area with Foreign Exchange Rates.

To delete a foreign exchange rate:

Press the Reference Data navigation button from any page displaying the navigation bar.

The Reference Data Area displays.
Select Foreign Exchange Rates from the Show drop-down list.

In the Currency column, click on the currency link for the foreign exchange rate you want to delete.

The Foreign Exchange Rate page appears for the foreign exchange rate you selected.
Press Delete. If you do not have security rights to maintain foreign exchange rates, or if the foreign exchange rate you selected does not belong to your organisation, the page appears in read-only mode and the Delete button does not appear on the page.

A message appears asking you to confirm that you want to delete the foreign exchange rate.
If you are certain you want to delete the foreign exchange rate, press Yes to confirm the delete action. The foreign exchange rate is deleted from the system and the Reference Data Area with Foreign Exchange Rates displays.

If you do not want to delete the foreign exchange rate, press No to cancel the delete process. The foreign exchange rate is not deleted from the system and the Reference Data Area with Foreign Exchange Rates displays.
