Deleting Receivables Matching Rules

When a Receivables Matching Rule currently stored in the system is no longer needed, users with appropriate security rights can delete the Receivables Matching Rule through the Reference Data Area with Receivables Matching Rules.

To delete a receivables matching rule:

  1. Press the Reference Data navigation button from any page displaying the navigation bar.

    The Reference Data Area displays.

  2. Select Receivables Matching Rules from the Show drop-down list.

    The Reference Data Area with Receivables Matching Rules displays.

  3. In the Buyer Name column, click on the Buyer name link for the Receivables Matching Rule you want to delete.

    The Receivables Matching Rules page appears for the Buyer you selected.

  4. Press Delete. If you do not have security rights to maintain receivables matching rules, the page appears in read-only mode and the Delete button does not appear on the page.

    A message appears asking you to confirm that you want to delete the receivables matching rule.

  5. If you are certain you want to delete the receivables matching rule, press Yes to confirm the delete action. The receivables matching rule is deleted from the system and the Reference Data Area with Receivables Matching Rules displays.

    If you do not want to delete the receivables matching rule, press No to cancel the delete action. The receivables matching rule is not deleted from the system and the Reference Data Area with Receivables Matching Rules displays.
