Creating Receivables Matching Rules

Users with security rights to maintain Receivables Matching Rules can create them through the Reference Data Area with Receivables Matching Rules. These Receivables Matching Rules can then be assigned to users to define their Receivables Matching Rule used in the Receivables Management system.

To create a receivables matching rule:

  1. Press the Reference Data navigation button from any page displaying the navigation bar.

    The Reference Data Area displays.

  2. Select Receivables Matching Rules from the Show drop-down list.

    The Reference Data Area with Receivables Matching Rules displays.

  3. Press Create a Receivables Matching Rule. If you do not have security rights to maintain Receivables Matching Rules, this button does not appear on the page.

    The Receivables Matching Rules page appears.

  4. Enter Receivables Matching Rule information into the page. Required information is indicated by a red asterisk (*). After you are finished entering data, press Save & Close.

    The new Receivables Matching Rule is saved and the Reference Data Area with Receivables Matching Rules re-displays.
