Users with appropriate security rights can removed purchase order line items that have been assigned to the Goods Description area of the Issue Import Letter of Credit or Amend Import Letter of Credit page.
To remove Purchase Order Line Items from an Import Letter of Credit transaction:
In the Instruments area, display the Import Letter of Credit issue or amend transaction from which you want to remove purchase order line item data. In order to remove purchase order data to a transaction, the transaction must still be displayed in the Pending Transactions page.
Go to the Shipment section of the transaction and find the Goods Description text area.
Press Remove PO Line Items. This button displays only if there are purchase order line items assigned to the transaction.
The Remove PO Line Items page displays. Its contents depend on the transaction type
- If the transaction is an issue, then all purchase order line items that have been added to the transaction display in the Remove PO Line Items page.
- If the transaction is an amendment, then all purchase order line items that have been added to the amendment manually through the Add PO Line Items button on the transaction display in the Remove PO Line Items page. Purchase order line items that have been automatically added to the amendment through the automatic Letter of Credit creation process are not included in the Remove PO Line Items page because they cannot be removed from the amendment.
Select each purchase order line item you want to remove from the current transaction's Goods Description, then press Remove Selected PO Line Items.
The transaction page redisplays with the selected purchase order line items removed from the Goods Description text area. The transaction amount is adjusted for the removed purchase order line item amounts. You can then complete the remaining transaction fields and process the transaction according to the standard transaction workflow in the system.
