History(Trade)
The Instrument history page is a hyper text link in the Trade area of Transactions mega menu item and displays when you select Trade from Transactions mega menu dropdown and select the Inquiries link and click on Instrument Inquiries List link from the navigation bar. This page displays instrument history details for transactions created in the Trade Services system or processed by your bank for your organisation.
There
are two views of the Instrument History page: Basic Search and Advanced
Search. These views both include search criteria and a listing page of
instrument search results, but the Advanced Search view provides additional
search criteria fields and lists in the top part of the page. The Basic
Search view is displayed by default, with a hyperlink to the Advanced
Search view.
The Basic Search is the default Instrument history page. This page allows you to display a list of instruments that match the specific search criteria you enter on the page. If you need additional search criteria fields for your instrument search, you can click on the Advanced Search hyperlink near the top of the page to display the Advanced Search view of the page.
The fields and controls contained in the Basic Search view of the Instrument History page are described below.

Making a selection from the Active/Inactive by clicking the respective check box. Select both for displaying all records If you make a selection, the listing area of the page will automatically refresh to show the results of your selection. |

Making a selection from this list determines the organisation(s) for which you want to display history. This list does not display if your organisation has no subsidiaries or branches or if you do not have security rights to work with subsidiaries or branches. Available selections depend on your security rights to work with data within your organisation, but could include your organisation, each subsidiary or branch for which you have security rights, and a selection for all organisations. If you make a selection from this list, the listing area of the page will automatically refresh to show the results of your selection. |
Copy Selected |
Allows you to copy data from an existing instrument to the first transaction for the new instrument. After you create the transaction and perform some action on it (such as route, save, or authorise), the Instrument Inquiry page redisplays. This button appears only for users with security rights to create or modify the instrument type displayed in the Instrument History page. |
Instrument ID |
Typing the complete instrument ID here or a portion of the instrument ID returns all a list of all instruments matching the instrument ID you entered. |
Primary Reference |
Typing the complete applicant's reference number here or a portion of the applicant’s reference number returns a list of all instruments matching the reference number you entered. |
Orig. Bank's Reference No. |
Typing the complete originating bank's reference number here or a portion of the originating bank’s reference number returns a list of all instruments matching the reference number you entered. |
Instrument Type |
The instrument type for your search. Selecting an instrument type here returns only instruments of the type you selected. |
Search |
Pressing this button after entering filter criteria in the search fields returns a list of instruments matching the search criteria entered. |
Instrument ID |
Column displaying the ID of each instrument displayed in the listing page. Select the option button to the left of the instrument ID to choose the instrument. Click the instrument ID hyperlink to display the Instrument Summary page for the instrument. By default, the instrument listing is sorted by the Instrument ID column; click on any other column heading to sort by that column. |
Instrument Type |
Column displaying the instrument type for each instrument displayed in the page. |
Portal ID |
This will be the temporary ID of the instrument,appear in the Portal until the instrument is processed by the bank’s back office system. |
Local Reference Number |
Enter the instruments Local Reference No. to retrieve instruments based on the bank's Local Reference No. entered by the bank for instruments created in TPS. |
Party |
Column displaying the party for each instrument displayed in the page. |
Ccy. |
Column displaying the base currency for each instrument displayed in the page. |
Amount |
Column displaying the amount of each instrument displayed in the page. If the instrument status is Pending, then the amount column displays the transaction amount. |
Status |
Column displaying the status of each instrument displayed in the page (Active or Expired). |
Related Instrument |
Displays Related Instrument for the instrument/ transaction. |
Party |
Displays the counter party for the instrument. |
Confirmed |
Column displaying confirmation details for the instrument. |
Applicant's Ref. No. |
Column displaying the instrument reference number entered by the applicant. |
Orig. Bank's Ref. No. |
Column displaying the instrument reference number defined by the originating bank (for instruments that are not initiated in the system). |
Vendor ID |
Column displaying the vendor ID of each transaction displayed in the page. Vendor ID will only be visible if the Corporate Customer setting: 'Do not Display Vendor ID' is not selected. |
Advanced Search
The Advanced Search view of the Instrument history page appears when you click the Advanced Search hyperlink from the Basic Search view of the page. Like the Basic Search view, the Advanced Search view allows you to display a list of instruments in history that match the specific search criteria you enter on the page; however, the Advanced Search provides additional search criteria fields and lists in the top part of the page, such as expiry date and amount ranges, as well as currency and other party.
You can enter search criteria in any or all of the search criteria fields and then press Search or press Enter to return the list of instruments matching your criteria. If searching by instrument ID, reference number, or instrument type is sufficient for your search, you can click on the Basic Search hyperlink near the top of the page to display the Basic Search view of the page.

Party |
The other party for your instrument search. To search by party, enter the first one or more characters of the party's name in this field. |
Search |

Bank Name |
Displays External Banks defined for the Corporate Customer. Making a selection from this list filters the instruments shown in the listing based on the user selected criteria. |
Instruments and Transactions Overview
