Instrument Summary

The Instrument Summary page appears when you click on an instrument ID from any of the listing pages in the Instruments area (Pending Transactions, Authorised Transactions, Instrument History, or an Instrument Summary page for a different instrument) or from the Notifications page in the Messages area.

The fields and controls contained in the Instrument Summary page are described below.

Field/Control

Description

Create Message

Pressing this button displays the New Mail Message page, allowing you to create and send a mail message with the current instrument ID preloaded into the appropriate field in the message. After you create the mail message and perform an action on it (such as route or save as draft), the Instrument Summary page redisplays.

This button appears only for users who have security rights to create mail messages.

Amend

Selection of the Amend button navigates the user to the corresponding Amendment page related to the Instrument Type & ID.

Trace

Selection of the Trace button navigates the user to the corresponding Trace page related to the Instrument Type & ID.

 

Close

Pressing this button closes the Instrument Summary page and returns you to the page from which you initiated the Instrument Summary page.

Current Terms Summary

This area provides a summary of the instrument's current terms. The following fields are displayed in the Current Terms Summary area:

Issue Date - The date that the instrument was issued.

Expiry Date- The current expiry date for the instrument.

Show Details - Pressing this button displays the Current Terms Details page. This button displays only for certain types of instruments for which there is at least one active transaction.

Instrument Amount - The amount of the instrument (the amount of the original transaction, including amendments). This amount excludes the tolerance and is displayed in the currency of the instrument.

Available Amount- The available amount of the original transaction, including amendments and payments. This amount also includes the tolerance and is in the currency of the instrument and the base currency.

Equivalent Amount- The equivalent amount of the active transaction. This amount is to be appended with and formatted in the currency of the active transaction's base currency.

Other Party - The name of the other party for the original transaction for the instrument.

Local Reference Number - Displays the local reference number added by the TPS user. This will apply to all products if there is a local reference number.

Your Reference Number - The reference number for the instrument.

Opening Bank's Reference Number - The opening bank's reference number for the instrument.

Related Instrument ID - Only valid for transferred Export LCs, Bankers' Acceptances, and Deferred Payments (for which this field is used to show the ID of the original instrument).

Confirmed - Shows the Confirm status for the instrument.

Field displaying confirmation details for the instrument.

Transactions

A listing of the transactions generated as a result of the current instrument. While you are viewing information in this area, you can perform actions available in all listing pages.

The following columns are displayed in the Transactions listing:

Transaction Status Date - Column displaying the transaction status date for each transaction in the listing. By default, the transactions listing is sorted by the Trans. Status Data column; click on any other column heading to sort by that column.

Transaction - Column displaying the type for each transaction displayed in the listing (for example, Issue, Amend, and so on). Click a transaction type hyperlink to display the transaction's details.

Currency - Column displaying currency for each transaction in the listing.

Amount - Column displaying the amount for each transaction in the listing.

Status - Column displaying the status of each transaction in the listing. Click here for a description of each status value.

Reference - Column displaying an instrument ID hyperlink for any transactions related to each transaction in the listing. An instrument ID hyperlink will appear only for transactions that are in the listing because they are original transactions of instruments related to the instrument displayed in the Instrument Summary pageC

Mail

A listing of the mail generated as a result of the current instrument. The Settlement Instruction Request for the instrument will also be viewable from the instrument’s Current Terms Summary screen in the Mail section.

While you are viewing information in this area, you can perform actions available in all listing pages.

The following columns are displayed in the Mail listing:

Date & Time - Column displaying the date and time that each message in the listing was received.

Subject - Column displaying a description of each mail message in the listing.,

Assigned To -Column displaying the user to whom each mail message in the listing is assigned.

Status – Column displaying the status of the mail message.

Request Financing

Request Financing button will only appear if the appropriate capabilities and authorizations are setup correctly for the corporate customer. Once the button is selected, the portal customer will be directed to a new screen to be able to initiate this new structured message.

Print Settlement Instruction Details

The "Print Settlement Instruction Details" button will become available once the Settlement Instruction transaction has been successfully verified.
