Deleting Payment File Definition

When a Payment File Definition currently stored in the system is no longer needed, users with appropriate security rights can delete the Payment File Definition through the Payment File Definitions.

To delete a Payment File definition :

1. Press the Reference Data navigation button from any page displaying the navigation bar. The Reference Data Area displays.
2. Select Payment File Definition from the Show drop-down list.
   The Payment File Definition listview displays.
3. In the Payment File Definition Name column, click on the Payment File Definition name link for the Payment File Definition you want to modify.
   
   The Payment File Definition page appears for the Payment File Definition you selected.
4. Press Delete. If you do not have security rights to maintain Payment File Definitions, or if the Payment File Definition you selected does not belong to your organisation, the page appears in read-only mode and the Delete button does not appear on the page.
   
   A message appears asking you to confirm that you want to delete the Payment File Definition.
5. If you are certain you want to delete the Payment File Definition, press Yes to confirm the delete action. The Payment File Definition is deleted from the system and the Payment File Definition listview page displays.
   
   If you do not want to delete the Payment File Definition, press No to cancel the delete process. The Payment File Definition is not deleted from the system and the Payment File Definition listview page displays.
