Press the Billing tab in the Notification Rules area in order to select the tabbed section of the Notifications Rules area that provides the notification rules for Billing instrument types. The Billing notification rules cover the following transactions for Accounts Receivable Payment/Adjustment.

Change Bill
Collect Bill
Commission in Advance
Commission in Arrears
Deactivate
New Bill
Reactivate
Reduce
Revolve
The fields and controls specific to the Billing tabbed section are described below.

Notifications |

This option is selected by default for all notifications. Accepting the default causes a notification to always be on the Notifications Page of the corporate organisation with the import or outgoing transaction, whether or not charges and/or documents are associated with the transaction. |

Selecting this option causes a notification to be on the Notification Page of the corporate organisation only when charges and/or documents are associated with the import or outgoing transaction. |

Selecting this option causes no notifications to be sent to the corporate organisation with the import or outgoing transaction. |

Always |
Selecting this option causes an email message to always be sent to the corporate organisation with the import or outgoing transaction, whether or not charges and/or documents are associated with the transaction. |

Charges and/or Documents only |
Selecting this option causes an email message to be sent to the corporate organisation only when charges and/or documents are associated with the import or outgoing transaction. |

This option is selected by default for all email messages. Accepting the default causes no email messages to be sent to the corporate organisation with the import or outgoing transaction. |

Save & Close |
Pressing this button saves the current information in all tabbed sections of the Notification Rules page and re-displays the Admin Reference Data Area with Notification Rules. This button does not appear when the page is displayed in read-only mode. |

Delete |
Pressing this button deletes the currently displayed notification rule from the system and re-displays the Admin Reference Data Area with Notification Rules. For more information, see Deleting Notification Rules. This button does not appear when the page is displayed in read-only mode or when you are creating a new notification rule. |

Close |
Pressing this button closes the Notification Rules Area page without saving any information and re-displays the Admin Reference Data Area with Notification Rules. |
