Creating Operational Bank Organisations

Client bank admin users with security rights (CCH) to maintain operational bank organisations can create them in the Organisations area. One or more operational bank organisations can then be assigned to corporate customers.

To create an operational bank organisation:

  1. Press the Organisations button from any page displaying the admin navigation bar.

The Organisations area displays and includes tabs for the organisation types for which you have security rights to maintain.

  2. If more than one tab is displayed, select the Operational Bank Organisation tab.

The Operational Bank Organisations Listing page displays.

  3. Press Create Operational Bank Organisation. If you do not have security rights to maintain operational bank organisations, this button does not display.

The Operational Bank Organisation page appears.

  4. Enter operational bank organisation information into the page. Required information is indicated by a red asterisk (*). After you are finished entering data, press Save & Close.

The new operational bank organisation is saved and the Operational Bank Organisations Listing page redisplays.

  5. After an operational bank organisation has been created, it can be associated with a corporate customer through the Corporate Customer page.

When you create a corporate customer, you must associate at least one and up to four operational bank organisation with the new corporate customer. The operational bank organisation(s) associated with a corporate customer displays to the corporate customer's users in the Bank Branch drop-down list of the New Transaction page when users create new transactions. This allows the corporate customer user to effectively select the operational bank organisation that will process the transaction. If only one operational bank organisation has been associated with a corporate customer, then the drop-down list defaults to the single operational bank organisation that has been associated with the corporate customer.
