Depending on your admin user level in the organisation hierarchy and your security rights (CCH), you can create several different types of organisations, including:
Client banks - The top level of the client bank hierarchy, client banks can only be created by ASP-level users. After a client bank is created, several other organisation levels can be created for the client bank hierarchy (see below). Each client bank organisation has admin-level users who can create and maintain bank group and corporate customer organisations.
Bank groups - Client bank-level admin users can create bank group organisations, which allow the client bank to group corporate customers according to regions or some other organisational factors. Each bank group has admin-level users who can create and maintain corporate customer organisations. Bank groups can only be created by client bank level users.
Operational bank organisations - Client bank-level and bank group admin users can create operational bank organisations, which is a back office operational processing area. Client bank users can create operational bank organisations that can be linked to any of their own bank groups, while bank group admin users are only able to create operational bank organisations for their own bank group.
Corporate customers - Client bank-level and bank group-level admin users can create and maintain corporate customer organisations, whose users create and process trade transactions through the system. Each corporate customer has corporate customer-level users who have access only to the corporate customer system and cannot work with administrative data. Each corporate customer profile defines at least one operational bank organisation for transaction processing. When a corporate customer user creates a transaction, the user specifies which operational bank organisation (called a "bank branch" on the create transaction page) should process the transaction.
External banks - Client bank-level admin users can create external banks, which is a back office operational processing area that can be linked to any of their own Corporate customers.
