When an operational bank organisation currently stored in the system is no longer needed, client bank admin users with appropriate security rights (CCH) can delete the operational bank organisation through the Organisations area.
Note: You cannot delete an operational bank organisation that has active corporate customer organisations or users associated with it or is referenced by an LC creation rule (CCH) for one or more corporate customers. When an operational bank organisation is deleted, its historical data is still available for retrieval in reports and on history pages in the system. Deleted operational bank organisations cannot be reactivated.
To delete an operational bank organisation:
Press the Organisations button from any page displaying the admin navigation bar.
The Organisations area displays and includes tabs for the organisation types for which you have security rights to maintain.
If more than one tab is displayed, select the Operational Bank Organisation tab.
The Operational Bank Organisations Listing page displays, listing all of the operational bank organisations that exist for your bank.
In the Operational Bank Organisation Name column, click on the operation bank organisation name link for the operational bank organisation you want to delete.
Press Delete. If you do not have security rights to maintain operational bank organisations, in read-only form and the Delete button does not display.
A message displays asking you to confirm that you want to delete the operational bank organisation.
If you are certain you want to delete the operational bank organisation, press Yes to confirm the delete action. The operational bank organisation is deleted from the system and the Operational Bank Organisations Listing redisplays.
If you do not want to delete the operational bank organisation, press No to cancel the delete process. The operational bank organisation is not deleted from the system and the Operational Bank Organisations Listing redisplays.
