Deleting Admin Security Profiles

When an admin security profile currently stored in the system no longer requires access to the system,  admin users with appropriate security rights (CCH) can delete the admin security profile through the Users & Security area.

Note:   You cannot delete an admin security profile if it has one or more active users.

To delete an admin security profile:

  1. Press the Users & Security button from any page displaying the admin navigation bar.

    The Users & Security area displays.

  2. If more than one tab is displayed, select the Admin Security Profiles tab.

    The Admin Security Profiles Listing page displays, listing all of the admin security profiles for your organisation.

  3. In the Admin Security Profile Name column, click on the admin security profile name link for the admin security profile you want to delete.

  4. Press Delete. If you do not have security rights to maintain admin security profiles,  this page displays in read-only form and the Delete button does not display.

    A message displays asking you to confirm that you want to delete the admin security profile.

  5. If you are certain you want to delete the admin security profile, press Yes to confirm the delete action. The admin security profile is deleted from the system and the Admin Security Profiles Listing page redisplays.

    If you do not want to delete the admin user, press No to cancel the delete process. The admin security profile is not deleted from the system and the  Admin Security Profiles Listing page redisplays.
